Blog attempt I

Ever since I first saw the television series Awkward, I wanted to blog. (Actually before that, but it really added fuel to the almost extinguished embers)
But my life is nothing like the main character's Jenna Hamilton. It doesn't have even close to the amount of boy, friend, or school drama. I don't even go to a public school, so what do I even type? Well Jenna uses hers like a journal, so...

She came back today. Sam and I have been dreading this day. She had been gone for a month, and now she's back.
It was like an awkward taco filled with eggshells.
We have to prove to her that we don't need her anymore, so mother can let her go, but it's kind of hard when she tries to wash dishes every meal (which is mine and Sam's job!) and then complains at us for not doing anything and being lazy. Okay, she didn't yell at us today, but it happens! Just not today.
Mother talked to her about going to work for that doctor she knows instead of here. I didn't exactly hear what was going on, but it didn't exactly sound reassuring. But it will happen. It has to happen.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

NaNo 2012 is OVER!

So, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is officially over (in my part of the world). And here's the thing: I didn't win. I didn't come close to winning. Like, at all.
My word count goal started off at sixty thousand, then when I decided to be a little more realistic, I reduced it to fifty thousand (the actual preset WCG for the adult NaNo). My total word count is twenty-seven thousand, five hundred ninety-four (27,594).
So yeah, technically, I lost. But you know what? I'm okay with that. I don't wanna say I tried my best, because honestly, if I had done my best, I would have won. But last year I only got about nineteen thousand total words. I beat my score for last year, which means I'm improving (or maybe I just know more words now), and that's all I can hope for.
So even though I didn't officially win, I still feel kind of, sort of, a little bit, minuscule-ly, not, like a winner. :)

Script Frenzy: Now I'm frazzled!

With Script Frenzy ending tomorrow, and seven pages left to reach my page count goal, I should probably be working on my television script instead of writing a blog post, but I needed a break.
I joined the Script Frenzy: Young Writers Program, which allows you to set your own page count goal, unlike the adult program where you have a set goal of one-hundred pages. My goal is a mere thirty-five pages. Pretty lame, I know. But in my defense, I have never written a script before.
So now, I have seven pages to write before tomorrow evening, and as you can tell by the title, I'm completely frazzled! Wish me luck!

Hello!

Hello all! I am Kae and I created this blog for no specific reason. I just thought it would be fun sharing my thoughts (or cogitations, or in my case Kaegitations... Get it? Kae + cogitations = Kaegitations) with the world.
As I can't think of anything more to say at the moment, good bye, and I hope you enjoy!
